Spring steps
Almost- we’re almost there ……Spring the long awaited change of season… clear skies, fresh pure light, crisp air ….. new life !
How’s your winter been going are you ready to shed the season and move into a new one ?
I certainly am!
Snow, freezing temperatures, flu viruses,short days let’s hope they are all behind us.
My birthday is on 1st March in fact I’ve just had the last birthday beginning with the number 5 so hopefully Next year it’s a BIG 60 for me.
Where has a decade gone in fact you get to this point in life and say where have all the decades gone there is till so much to do.

Professor Steven Hawkings died this morning and he said he still had so much to do so how about the rest of us ?
We may not be physicists, famous scientists or renowned inventors!
We may be just trying to get along with life, family , work, health, making a living !
You may be cruising, surviving or innovating.
I hope that you have visions, plans, ideas, thoughts …. stuff that gives you joy… hope…excites you and makes you feel,that life is an exciting journey.

My pearls for today,considering the passing of Professor Steven Hawking’s who quoted that he was a ‘broken computer and broken computers don’t go to heaven that is just for people who are afraid of the dark!’
I would say ‘thank you Prof, but I’m not a broken computer are you ?
My kids may have often called me a broken record !
But I/we are much much more than a computer , we feel , love, reproduce, create families, care for others , serve our communities, heal sick people, insight hatred and anger towards one another, all this and much more..
I’m not a physicist like the Prof but I’m a people person , a pastor,a carer of souls, and I know that from all my interactions with literally thousand of humans over my decades that YOU are more than a computer YOU are a created individual being able to choose, feel and love, you are completely unique your DNA is unique,your fingerprints are unique and your soul is unique.
The psalmist , King David wrote these words he understood our uniqueness….
Psalm 139( paraphrased)
‘You are fearfully and wonderfully made, you were knit together in your mothers womb and all the days ordained for you were already made before they came to be.’
The suggestion here is that there is much more than we can see with our eyes, much more than we can imagine or conceive with our minds we are unique ! A one off ! God broke the mould when He made YOU!

I’m a creative, an empath and I think that each person is unique and has a unique journey to follow.

Follow your journey, take your silk pocket of pearls of wisdom, lessons, insights, experiences and use them to help you and others along your way, you are much more than a broken computer you are Spirit, soul and body in that order!
